Good luck... and get out of that Mcdonalds!!! (Unless you're going to be ordering their salad or burgers without the buns) I don't know how you feel about meats, but since I've cut out the higher carb items.. potatoes, rice and sugars, including most fruits, I've been doing better. Also, when I eat more protein I don't get as hungry as quickly. I had to cut way down on the carbs because they send my blood sugar sky high. I couldn't get it below 200 before and now the average is about 125. Well, I lied, I just ate a 4oz nectarine and my glucoes is 203. Crap! I love nectarines... Guess I'd better go fix myself some bacon with an omelet (eggs/cheese)
