Did pretty good this weekend. We out with hubby for lunch on Friday to a new place, and got pretty aggravated - you'd think when you tell them you are not eating any sugar they would let you know that the "house salad" contains a sweet vinagrette - ugghhh wish everyone was sympathetic those who are trying to cut certain things out their diet. Have decided that eating out is just not a good thing unless I know what I can eat at the restaurant!

I have learned to always ask for the dressing or bbq sauce on the side, that way you can controll whst is on your salad or meats. I eat out alot with my job and have learned how to work things so i can enjoy it.

Very hard to eat out and know everything in or on our food. One day at Outback ordered steak, green beans & salad. Green beans were very very sweet - I didn't eat them and finally got to ask the waitress if anything was added to the beans. I had already told her that I couldn't have sugar. The manager came over to apologize and said yes the vegetable seasoning they use contains SUGAR...really!! They really should warn people on the menu that items may contain sugar.

Hey must lovedogs:they use flour in their steak seasoning too. Have to get it fire grilled. :(

It is just so frustrating trying to eat out. But at least you and DH got out and did something together. You'll wear the sugar off soon enough.
