I'm going to really lock it down this week. Running 5x/week, keeping calories below 900 calories, and hoping this will push me off my plateau. Getting frustrated with the scale not moving fast enough is counter-productive. Fight fat with fire! Need to turn up the internal furnace up a notch. I will stay 100% committed for the next 2 weeks.

Cutting calories can actually slow the metabolism and the weight you lose might be muscle. But if you are only doing it for a week or two, you should be fine. Maybe try higher and lower caloric days to keep your metabolism guessing.

Thanks Suzi! I totally agree; this kind of plan should only be done for a short period of time. I just really need to do something to kick-start the stupid scale. But, yes, I will keep my calories up and down a bit on alternate days. Appreciate the support!
