Yesterday was a bad day. Teenagers. One day at a time I guess unless the stress gets to me first.
I did not mean to intentionally eat so little calories, but there simply was no hunger because of the teen drama. Life is always throwing curve balls. We best be good at catching.

It's a fine balance with self-control. You need to exercise it on a meal-by-meal basis, but you also want to be "free" from it's constraints once in a while too. I guess food is just an area where we must just accept that it will always need monitoring otherwise weight gain is inevitable. Truth sometimes sucks, but I always remind myself that being fat sucks WAY more.

Back from holidays yesterday and I did pretty good food-wise. I remained faithful to logging at the end of each day, so it was super helpful to keep me mindful. Well, back to my regular routine and now I need to keep maintaining my weight on the forefront of my eating strategy. I feel quite calm about this second go around at maintenance. I learned what portions and what kind of foods I can eat for my activity level, so it's a learning curve, but the curve is shrinking.
I have been reading as much as I could of my buddies journals, so I've kept as current as possible. All of your consistent journaling and logging keeps me on track to do the same and I really appreciate your steadfastness.

Steady as she goes even without running this week! But, we all know diet plays a far bigger role than exercising, so I've watched my food a bit more closely since I was too busy to sweat with work. I've always run with the motivation of it being a healthy thing to do rather than a weight-loss thing as it keeps it a habit in my life.
We're off to Miami and Key West for a holiday next Wednesday, but I will do my best to log my food and activity at the end of the day. Holidays don't freak me out in terms of food control. I have always found it easier when I'm away than when I'm at home. Maybe it's because I don't have access to a full fridge and pantry in our hotel room!

Work, work, and more work! It has been stupid busy the last couple of days and will be for at least another 3 days. I feel as if I am chained to my desk, so running has totally been out of the question. I think if I can sneak in 2 runs this week I'll be lucky.
As we are all too aware when life gets this busy our healthy food choices go out the window. So today I caved and we had McDonald's for dinner (first time in 6 months). I don't drink soda so I guess there's that, I really enjoyed my Big Mac though! 🍔
I hope everyone else had a better food day than me...good night ya'll!
