Back to hunt&peck RH typing as my left hand is tremoring (?) too much to keep on the keyboard. So it seems that exercise increases the myoclonic tumors. That jives w/ my observations since the myoclonus started in Jan. its alright with me as regular exercise is helping me feel much better. My wife even commented that I seem to have much more energy and less pain.

Yesterday,She took some time away to go to an annual scottish games/festival w/ her good friend. she used to play the 'pipes so I know how good it would be for her to go. she even texted a pic of her arm showing gooosepimples! It's difficult as i so wanted to go, but she needed time away from the caretaker and mommy role. So I downloaded some Scottish war music and worked out by them. Prolly why I am so sore today! But workout pain feels good! makes me feel alive & gives me hope that I can get strong again.

Got 10 hrs sleep last night/this am. Big thanks to my wife for allowing me to sleep in! Didn't fall asleep till 3am. Should start the regular ambien thing again. Brain and body needs the sleep to repair/recharge and encourage good metabolism/catobolism.

Off to bike workout while watching the big race. (and listening to Clann and Drumma)

Guid cheerio the nou!

wait, I am confused, exercising is increasing the tumor? Or decreasing? I hope decrease..? Sounds like your wife had a great time. That was good of you to encourage her to go! Mommy caretaker has a day off. Yippie for her, and time on the bike for you.. Keep up your great spirits! Whoot! March to that music.. (my brother use to play bag pipes in the basement, and we had a bag pipe player, give my dad away when he died. His request! Amazing

confussled? ha, i can see how! It's my LH tremors that seem to increase w/ exercise. I don't think that's a function of the tumor (hope not), but rather something occurring within the arm/shoulder neural pathways. My PT said that cardio helps prognosis. I'm not sure by what mechanism.. maybe it helps to be in better shape and have everything functioning body-wide? better chemistry b/c of improved respiration? good Q for me to ask him. he has the equiv of a PhD in PT and is involved actively in research so he should know. bagpipes in the basement? wow, that must have been fun for your family! I like the idea of pipes to send off. a drum and pipes playing Ave' Maria sounds nice for me. maybe overlooking Paynes Prairie just south of Gainesville. I'll have to add that to my final wishes. (scratch that, i just listened to a couple youtube renditions...not good) maybe the ol' standby Amazing Grace but have to have at least one drummer. And a pint of Guinness and a bottle of good Islay Scotch!
