Another successful fast day yesterday - is it too soon to say I feel like this is becoming routine?

Another 600gr down on the scale this morning so I'm under goal by 100gr for the first time in ages. Of course, it's probably a "false" low after yesterday's fast but on the whole we seem to be getting results.

In a perverse kind of way I'm starting to really enjoy the fast days, as I said before. The dual feelings of lightness and control are compelling and meke a difficult task relatively easily because I feel so positive about fasting, not deprived at all. This psychological reaction is surprising and intriguing and I'm hoping it will continue as the weeks go by.

When I do the fasting days - like today - I feel completely like what you describe. I feel GREAT! I actually feel a mental load off, not having to do a whole lot of calculating and making things fit into my RDI. Weird, huh? Also, I love the lightness of my body, the feeling of NOT being full, the feeling of having the upper hand on my weight loss journey. This alone is worth the effort, and after a few times it's really not too hard to skip a couple of meals. I mean, what would happen if we ate a little less? It's not like we're gonna implode or we go to jail, right? :)
