I think it was a case of trying to do too much too soon, and when I got a slight head cold last week, which is already gone, instead of pushing through it - I took a break.

I think I'm not quite ready for 5 day a week workouts. 4 is plenty, and 3 is still good.

Still working on progressing with my lifting - not feeling too bad there. I'm up to 3 x 15. 5 more lifts before I go back to 12 and add weight. It's a little boring just now, but it feels good to lift a little again. Currently doing bench press, lat pull and tricep extension (the latter two on the machine) - will add bicep curl when I recycle.

The run was..painful. :) But I did it - and will keep doing it. Hoo-ah.

It'll come back. my first few runs were painful but back into the swing of things! Glad you're feeling better and that you took a break, I'm sure you needed it. Baby steps!

I used to bench 90 at 3x12 - when I was 16 or 17. It galls to be taking it easy at 55, but I think I don't really want to be lifting that much again. I have muscles, I just want tone.

Thanks B :) yeah - sometimes I have to remind myself that every workout, even if I reach the goals I've set for myself, is a good workout. It'll help me get to that next place. I'm glad you're feeling better too. Being sick just throws everything out of whack!
