Two good workouts in the past two days. It's not a habit, but it's getting closer. If I go work out tonight (and the plan is yes after coaching) then I will finally be at my 3x20 sets for lifting and next time I lift I'll be able to up the weights and down the reps and I'll add bicep curls. Never thought I'd be excited about adding bicep curls, but it turns out doing bench press 3x18 times is kind of boring :)

Need to get on the nutrition train as that is not coming along very well. But it's so easy to find excuses. I've officially decided to give up pork products for Lent (not because I'm Catholic, but because I like the challenge) - hoping this helps me think healthier for a while!

pork is actually relatively good choice for protein. fairly lean and less fat than beef. good to see you stringing together the workouts. it's inspiring. keep it up! oh yeah - after your 37 minutes on elliptical last night what was your calories burned number? ;)

200 something - I was actually impressed that it was kind of low :) Definitely not 500! But I was only on level 8 of 20 - so that may be part of it. But, after my 37 minutes I did do 80 variations of abs. Leeeetle sore in some areas today, not too bad (need to do more of those honestly). And pork overall isn't bad, but I primarily eat it in the form of bacon or in hawaiian pizzas. I figure it doesn't help to give up bacon just to replace it with sausage, so just to go whole hog (if you'll excuse the term) for the next 40 days.

Hmmm 3x20 sets of anything does sound kind of boring haha. Nice job on tehworkouts though! One day at a time!
