The Atkins Diet is kind of a hard diet if you have to eat out a lot. I don't seem to be loosing very fast. After about three weeks I have lost 12 pounds that I can document (I stopped weighing at 270 pounds months and months ago, so I may have lost more).
My wife likes Atlanta Bread, and we have been eating there a lot. I have been eating a lot of their chicken salad with no bread, and sometimes the avocado sandwich with no bread. I like both of those, but just recently I had a rude awakening.
Looking in their nutritional book was a real shocker! They put flour in their tuna salad and in their chicken salad and just one serving is over the limit for carbs if you are in the induction phase of the Atkins Diet. Stuff that you think would be low carb is actually high carb at Atlanta Bread. I will be taking my Atkins meals in there and heating them in the microwave while my wife is placing her order.
Thank God for Waffle House.
