So pre-planning all my meals worked out perfectly for me. I ate clean and only what I prepared all weekend. Didn't go over my calories at all either. I am sure I burned a lot though chasing my kids around and swimming. It was a blast to get to go swimming in January! But I am pooped today and have not done weights since Wednesday. :( Friday would have been my next typical weights day. But I did get in some good cardio Friday at the hotel fitness center so no worries. Just curious to see what my scale screams at me in the morning. My quads are toning up nicely and I am really anticipating seeing what my stomach looks like a month from now. I can really feel the muscle there now and am hoping to see them more defined within the next month or two. All my determination is paying off well. It motivates me to work harder all the time. I am going to make a call to the recreational center nearby and see if they do body fat measurements. I am small enough now I hopefully would not leave crying about it. I missed you guys though. I think I was able to catch up on everyone's journals and if not I am sorry. Best of luck to you all!


Great! So pleased to hear that everything worked out for you as planned, that has really put a smile on my face. Yes - I want to ask about body fat measurement as well - perhaps I should ask my gym. Lovely reading about all your wondeful progress too; really thrilled for you. xx

Wow, didn't go over calories at all. Awesome job!! I am sure you did burn a ton, I know anytime I'm babysitting I am all ove rthe place with kiddos. Sounds like a great family weekend :)

Great job!! Body fat mesaurements is a great idea! I'm not ready for that yet, but when I am, I think I'll check with my gym to see if they do it. I should hopefully be starting at the gym Thursday. Sounds like the toning and strength training is giving you great results. Hope you see a new number on the scales tomorrow! :)

everywhere wants to do it electronically. I have a scale that does that so I am considering buying body calipers.

I'm so glad you had a great weekend -- it is such a treat, especially this time of year! And, good for you for pre-planning so well, & sticking to it when I'm sure you had plenty of temptations. I'm an exercise freak & thrilled to hear you are too -- it's obviously working!

So glad you had a wonderful weekend! Sounds like your preplannin really paid off. One of my trainers uses the electronic scale, but the other uses body measurements and calipers. I prefer the latter, I get to see the difference in measurements that way. But, either way, body fat measurements are a good idea. Welcome Back!

Good for you.Your doing great. I just joined I left a email in your private email. Introduced myself. Was nice to see someone is in here for 2013. I am learning slow but sure.
