I cheated this morning with a fried pies but I was really starving after my workout. I have the rest of the day to get back on track - all is not lost.

You take a round flat piece of dough and add a filling like potato or cheese or meat ( cooked and seasoned) seal the edges and fry it. Delicious ! loo up aloo pies - that's the potato filling - popular in my country

Seema, no one can resist these - I assume you are referring to Samosa's? Anyway, what is the point to life if one cannot eat the foods that they enjoy/crave once in a while ;o) There's more to life than always watching what you eat. :)
