Weight is the same, but that isn't surprising. Inches are down. Third day in a row of morning workout. It feels pretty good! The workout makes me feel better about my food choices during the day. I may need to explore boosting calories. I have no desire to slow down my metabolism!
I should be able to wrap up the extra work today and then back to my "regular" routine.
Doc prescribed steroids and a sleep aid for my son to help him beat his headache. Hopefully, the headache will break within the next couple of days.

Yay - glad the extra work is wrapping up! Time for YOU time! Good for you on the inches - I keep telling myself I should measure for times when it feels like the scale isn't moving and I've worn the same size jeans for a month but I'm not sure how to get an accurate measure without turning the tape into a tourniquet on days I feel frustrated. So I just keep making myself look at a calendar and focus on the changes that HAVE happened in a short time and be happy for that. I caught the last hour of 'The Biggest Loser' last night - first time ever - and I was so sad for those contestants. I can't imagine standing in front of everyone and being made to feel bad for only losing 6lbs in one week. How crazed is that? I'm sure I should watch the rest of the show before I judge but geez.. I'll take 6lbs a week all month long! It reminded me of the time I went to an AA meeting to understand and gain compassion for an alcoholic in my family - all I wanted to do was drink afterward. Last night watching TBL I wanted to dive into the bag of candy - but I didn't. Slim people don't eat their emotions, right? Right.

I agree with you on TBL! I have only watched it twice, but I feel like it promotes unrealistic expectations for weight loss. I like the pace I am going! I suppose if weight loss and exercise is all we did with our time, it might be different and I would expect to lose 6-10 pounds a week (thank God for having a "normal" life!) And can you imagine someone screaming at you while you are on the treadmill telling you that you just aren't giving enough? I would punch them out!
