So my weight is still lingering around the same spot. I am not really stressing over it (not yet..haha)...I like to look at it as my body getting adjusted. Not to mention I have fed it some things that I normally wouldn't right now (almonds, the KFC original chicken filet, the soup that I had last night). So today will be more the norm for me.

Daughter and I are going to the store this afternoon. My work replaced the $100 gift card that was in my purse when it was stolen. Very nice of them and I di not expect it. So I am going to stock up o some Rockstars and maybe some Cascade Ice and some assorted meats. Try to get my freezer stocked up some more. I really need to work on some menus so maybe just get a couple of things.

Daughter contacted the place that she took her NAR course and they are supposed to have her a transcript to take to the enlistment office. Not sure if it will help. Please keep your positive thoughts coming...this is so frustrating for all of us.

Our furbaby Effy is doing well she has been using her pad at night and everytime I look into her sweet face I see our boy Rosco all over again...he was such a sweet boy and we miss him. She is getting on well with the other fur babies (with the exception of her puppy tendency to want to play and annoy them...hahaha).

I tried my hand at making my own smoked salmon spread and it was really good. The meat market sells smoked salmon spread themselves, but it is pricey and I don't know exactly what is in it. They also sell the smoked salmon. So I can make it last a lot longer by making my own spread. I use 1 oz of salmon and 2 oz of cream cheese and a tbsp of sour cream. Very yummy...you cam eat it alone or with celery or a low carb cracker (I used my low carb tortilla chips that I made from the low carb tortilla). A great snack.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Puppies are so-o-o adorable! I know what you mean about their antics not always being appreciated by the resident adult canines! My Lab gal, when she was a puppy, used to use my Terv's furry tail as her own personal tow rope, of sorts, to help her up the steps from the yard to the deck. He'd be on his way up those steps and she'd lightly grab onto his tail with her teeth and let him help pull her up the steps! He tolerated this, but you could just see him asking, "Really??? See what I have to put up with? Couldn't you just send this thing back?"

The lingering weight could be because you are losing inches. I know that's what I'm going through right now. I've been at the same weight for a longer period than normal, but I'm dropping inches. Ahhhh....puppies they are great, but they can be annoying for the fur babbies at times. We have one that is a yr old, and I'M STILL waiting for her to grow up! She and our oldest fur baby can play pretty hard, but there are times when my GSD thinks she's playing to hard w/our oldest dog and she will tell her about it. One thing about female shepherds, they are such mother hens!!
