Noodle, it has been a rough wek for you. Don't be too hard on yourself, and even if there is a slight gain, it is most likely water. It will go away, and as you said, the health is more important!

Thanks! I am just not sure what to do. i'm still getting dizzy and the gatorade and extra salt don't seem to be making a difference. I don't go back to the doctor until the 21st so hopefully by then i can at least get in a little workout, even if its just walking on my treadmill without getting dizzy.

Have you had your blood pressure checked? And what type of supplements are you taking? Do you take magnesium or potassium?

haven't had my blood pressure checked since tuesday at the doctors..they took it about 15 times there. Told me it was really low even for me who has a history of lower than average blood pressure. Not taking any supplements or any vitamins right now. Was told just to take my normal medications (my birth control and zoloft) so that when I go back they can help determine exactly what i should be taking if anything. THey want my levels to be "untouched" (of course except for the gatorade and extra salt i have to use to try to raise my blood pressure)

Makes sense. I have extrememly low BP also and have spells where I get vertigo. It is the most uncomfortable sensation! The only time I have passed out was from an ear and sinus infection. No pain, no nothing, just boom, hit the floor. I feel for you, it is so discombobulating! Hope that things gets better for you soon.

Thanks! Thats exactly what happened. I was sitting in a chair, the next thing I know I was on the floor. It's a scary feeling.

Thanks! I hit the counter in the kitchen with my hip, its still sore and its been a week. Bruises on my left leg from landing on the floor and knocking over 2 kitchen chairs. The only medications i'm on now are my birth control pill and zoloft. I plan on asking them if one of both of them is playing a part.

Yes, I don't know the whole story but it does sound like it's been a rough week. It's hard enough to stick with our plans when things are going alright. So you have to give yourself a little leeway when STUFF starts happening. The most important thing is your health. Once you get the big things worked out (blood pressure) you can focus on the fine tuning. In the meantime, try not to lose heart. Drink a ton of water today and eat as healthfully as you can. There will be another weigh-in next week!
