I totally blew it yesterday. I hate how one little "extra" or "no no" that wouldnt hurt you alone...turns into me splurging! Ugh! It started yesterday with me having a sweet tooth. So i went with good intensions to the store and found some low car ice cream. Only 3 net carbs for half a cup. Its vanilla and tastes really great! But i just started eating it instead of measuring out half a cup and puttig it away. I didnt do all that bad is still had less than a full cup but then i went to my grandmas. She said she was having chicken and veggie stir fry for dinner. Well she forgot to mention the pasta noodles in it! I should have just picked them out, but i ate them. Then i had seconds! lol. THEN...my girlfriend gives me a call to go out... and a few drinks (the sugary bad mixed kind) and a million carbs later, my diet is so blown for the day!
So today im just really trying to stay positive and start fresh. But i dot know whether i should record my splurge yesterday in my food diary??

Just learn from experience and move on. It takes 3-5 days to get back into ketosis, so don't weigh in right away. Let yourself lose the water weight first. Just get back on the plan.

Remember this day for the next time you want to have anything other than meat, veges, and cheese. Processed foods are quite tasty..but eventually they can lead to binges or "what's another bite" mentallity. Its especially important, while not easy at all, to not even have a bite during TOM if you are prone to binges. Im still working on this :) You can do it! Good luck on re-induction!

I totally would not record it!!! You already know you were bad, why do you have to prove it in a court of law! ha! I agree with all said above. Shrug it off - happens to all of us - and move on! Welcome back!!

We have bad days! We have to learn from it & we have to decide what is the path for us!!! A long time ago I was over 300 pounds then I got down to 165 then slowly up to 238. Well, in Jan. I decided to STOP this roller coaster. Grabbing a hold of my life & deciding what I really wanted for a future! I still have bad days in fact this past 2 weeks I gained but yesterday I grabbed a hold again & I am on my journey again. You can do this & at your age just think of the benefits you will have! The love you will have for yourself & then the love you can show your family. I truly believe that you have to love yourself to show true love! I'm here if you need a friend! BTW, I graduated high school from Petaluma. I miss Sonoma County!!!!
