Happy New Year. Not really the weigh in I'd like to see in the new year but it's totally expected. I've been a little backed up! Yikes! Terrible stomach pains and bloating! I'm sure now that I'm home I'll be back to normal in a couple days. I did great again over the holidays. I stuck to all atkins friendly food. I had only 1 1/2 glasses of wine. i did eat a few more nuts than I like yeasterday but we were at my inlaws and after I ate my (soup) for breakfast there was nothing else Meli firendly to eat. So lunch was nuts.

This years resolutions are

No sugar, year two!
No grains (already have 5.5 months in)
tone up
hit goal (somewhere between 120-130, I'll let my body decide)
Maintain, most of this year will be focused on maitnance.

It feels great goining into another year after having kept my resolutions this last year. I said no sugar this last year and I pretty much did it. I may have had 1 cup of sugar over the whole year. Most people consume 150 lbs or more! that is nuts! I've had less all year than some people consume in 1 day.

In 2012 I have lost 29 lbs. I have not eat (hardly any, it everything so avoiding it completly is almost immposible.) sugar. Since August when I started measuing my hip have gone down over 5 inches! Here is to success! It feels great!

139.0 lb Lost so far: 16.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
