It seems wrong to say this but it feels good to be back at work. I'm sitting! No one has wiped their noses on me. No one is whining they're bored. I can't see the donuts, chocolate cake, or the cookies in the cabinet. I think I realized after a week and a half off of work that I actually relax at work. It's the only time I get to sit!

I did start my new years challenges yesterday despite having that time of the month and a mini hangover. So the gain over break was HUGE but I'm pretty sure the next weigh in will be fantastic if I can stay on track. At least I'm motivated after seeing a bigger number on the scale. This year I'm going to get down to 140 or lower. I think 140 is realistic. I say that now.. that's not saying that when I get to 140 I won't want to be 130. :)

I had to come in for 3 days last week or my gain would have been worse. Still think it's hysterical that we are the TOM sister lol! I hear you about work being down time. Ry has been off of karate for a week and a half so back at it tonight. Sure as hell not feeling the gym so I'll take karate tonight and hit the gym tomorrow. Did feel good to get there yesterday. Good thing I went early or I'd never have made it.

I found an app called fitocracy that I'm playing with now. You earn points for exercising and can advance levels.. I'm enough of a kid that I like it. So far I'm on level 2! lol

I am loving being back at work too - routine helps me both with food choices and exercise. Keep going!

I was tired of seeing all the holiday foods sitting around too. So I chewed a lot of gum! It seems to help me a lot.

Thats the way it was when I worked...I worked my rear off on the weekends and then it felt good to just sit at the computer doing my work...Enjoy that new app....:O)

I hear ya - I so wanted to open our store yesterday just to get away from the endless TV and just sitting there. Wanted to sit here instead of being up all the time tending to things. My grandmother used to say 'whatever you do on NYears Day, you'll do all year...' I think she used to say that just so she had an excuse to NOT clean the house that day....
