I often forget that even though I am tucked in safe and warm during a storm our police and emergency workers are still on duty. Stay safe.

Buffy - after the initial problems when it started snowing, 3 car accidents in 3 hrs it stayed quite. I guess once everyone was home they stayed were they are and did not take chances. the only ones out for a very long time were the snow plows and I am very thankful for that.

Hey Jozette - so glad to see you still on here! Hope you are doing well. My son also spends more time out on those awful winter nights than he would otherwise like...but he so loves his job... he doesn't care. He's only 25, ... give 'em a few years! :) LOL! Thanks for your service, though. Much Love.

Paula - Your son is doing a great job supporting the community. My thanks to him. As for getting older and wiser - looking around, most of the people involved are as enthusiastic now as they have been in their early years. I think this kind of involvement seldom goes away.
