For pity's sake, please don't read my food diary! I've been so busy mixing, scooping, baking, decorating, packaging, and delivering cookies today that I've had one good meal. That was breakfast that I ate while mixing up & fixing up a batch of cookies this morning so I could take some of them to a friend at the gym (along with several other kinds I packaged last night). I went to class, came home & made another kind of cookies, the fudge bon bon ones with white chocolate drizzled over the top.

I made up three huge trays to take to the holiday dinner at my apartment. I was carrying two of them and tripped on my partner's suitcase (being packed on the floor by the dining table). I felt my bones in my knee grind together as pain ripped into my shin; and I didn't drop a single cookie! I stood there until the pain let up enough that I could move without limping, set the cookies on the kitchen counter, then went & put arnica on my shin. The skin is broken, oweys!

I drove in, delivered the cookies, chatted a little, then drove back here. My partner called & is bringing home dinner from Chipotle while I'm icing my shin and knee. I've eaten a lot of my goodies & feel kind of queasy, but its been a good day. I got a lot accomplished and made people happy. I take my partner to the airport in the morning; flying down to spend Christmas with grandkids; I'm sending along gift cards & money for the family.

CK - you are so talented - I can practically taste those cookies. I was sorry to read about you hurting yourself! You are amazing, I'd have dropped the cookies and probably sat there and ate 'em in between tears! Take care of that injury and feel better soon ~ if Beau is anything like my furbaby just having him purring next to you is therapeutic.

PS - sorry - but you can't say 'don't' to a person like me with control issues... LOVED looking at your FOOD diary. Reminds me of mine the day I had my mayo binge :-)
