I'm having a strawberry issue. I figured out a while ago that I need more veggies and fruits and non-processed carby stuff. So I added strawberries since they supposedly have less sugar. So.. a cup of strawberries apparently has an enormous amount of carbs.. why? I'm not sure. When I add individual strawberries the carb damage isn't that bad.. I'm not sure why. Maybe they think squishing them to add them into a cup creates carbs. Maybe they assume that if you're putting strawberries into a cup then you're also adding sugar and maybe some alcoholic daiquri stuff.. vodka? I can't remember. I haven't had any sleep and I order them at a bar because I'm too dang lazy to make my own. That's what wine coolers are for. Sure they don't have the ice/slush factor but they have the taste. Where am I going with this? I can't remember. I have a teething 6 month old at home. I'm lucky I'm wearing underwear and I'm not sitting at work with fuzzy slippers because I forgot to put on heels.

Anyways... Um.. Hmm.. Ok I'm considering today a success.. so far. That is if the strawberry carb county thing is right when I count the berries and not the cup. Seriously though.. Even if it is off a little it's not ben and jerry's so it's still a freakin success.

Tonight I'm home with the kiddo's while hubby goes to the city so I can succeed because I'm going to bed the second the little man falls asleep. The 8 yr old has instructions to keep the duct tape handy and if that fails to take pictures of my butt and tape them to the ben and jerry's. Hubby will probably wonder why my butt is on his ben and jerry's but.. well.. he should be used to random wierdness by now.

I think the only accurate way is to use the scale. But then, I've never been one for accuracy - LOL.

OK, so I think everything is just turning into one big blur for you and I... I di pretty good with the carbs over the weekend but not my best. Oh well... wish you'd been at the winery with me though!

Wait til you have been at this for a hundred years like me. I've been studying this lose weight thing so long that I'm down to Kale chips, salad, meat & dark chocolate. The best thing I hear when I read your journals is you getting it! Strawberries vs. Ben & Jerry's. You got it.
