Ahh. Thanksgiving. The day I have dreaded for over a month. I need to balance my desire to please my family and ensure they have a "typical" Thanksgiving and my desire to continue on my path of weight loss. I am baking three pies and a cheesecake along with most of the typical holiday meal. The only concession for me is the additional salad and the availability of raw vegetables. I will need to eat the typical foods with restraint and fill my plate with salad and vegetables. Why are Thansgiving foods so danged tasty?
