Not bad, not good.... I dreaded Thanksgiving from a food control and availability standpoint, but I did pretty well. I ate turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pie and still stayed under my RDI through portion control. However, I felt like crap! That is more fat than I have had in months. I had heartburn that woke me up in the middle of the night and I had to take tums. I still feel icky this morning because I think I am still trying to digest some of the food. I think I will make today a cleansing day (all veggies - extremely low fat- and see if that helps me feel better.
Remember this feeling! The fat I ate yesterday was not unrealistic for my diet from just 6 months ago. Keep moving forward with good, healthy choices and keep moving!
