I feel a little better today, but still shaky. I have to go in today and explain to my two supervisors that I am mentally ill and even if all goes well, it is going to effect their perception of me forever. That's not an easy thing to do. I am trying to track, but it's still very hard. I am trying to be accountable but not punishing. I still haven't shed any weight in the last ten days, but I feel the way I am pushing my body, that's incidental. My body feels very FIT. My muscles are more and more defined. I don't think I will get less wide than I already am - my hips and my rib cab are now visible, and unless I put weight back on, their circumference won't get any wider or smaller. I think at this point that where I will see progress is the elimination of soft fat areas on my abdomen, my inner thighs, my arms and my butt. I will create even more muscle, and hopefully that muscle will be able to do even more things - lift heavier weights faster, or run further distances in less time. That's really motivating right now. I want to be in a smaller dress size, but I've lost enough weight that I can let go of that. What I really want is for my body to be able to function like a MACHINE - like that 43 year old marathon runner in the Nike Ads twenty years ago. Next year I would like to run a 10K. Next year I would like to be able to lift ten and five pound weights in FIERCE class. Next year I would like to be able to lift a 15 pound bar in Body Design. One damn thing I can tell you is not going to improve though, is my ability to do choreography and step. You still want to laugh your ass off? Just watch me try to do step. You will laugh, trust and believe.
