Well, I went in to work and told my supervisors that I am bipolar today, and that I would be taking FMLA. It went better than expected and I feel a big sense of relief. I won't have to worry about work for the next 30 days. I was able to track well today, and I stayed within my RDI and I even got to eat steak and ice cream tonight for dinner! Can't get much better than that when you are on a diet. I just walked the dog today for exercise, decided to give myself a break. I met a new friend that works with my cousin who lives in my neighborhood. She asked me if I would walk with her. That was really special to me. No one ever treats me like I'M the fitness friend, like I'M the one people want to do exercise with because I'M the one who may have something to offer. If I can work a miracle with my work schedule, I will certainly make time to walk with her.
