Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a good weekend. I went to my 6th Zumba class of the week this morning, and had a great new instructor. She's a real dancer and has some mad skills and great moves. She knows Zumba! She also had a dancer's body that makes you want to do what she does so you can look more like her, lol.
I mixed up some dough for my Minty Mini-Chip cookies last night, and baked it when I got home from Zumba. The house smells great and I have lots of cookies to take to the last regular-season Women's Portland Pilots Soccer game tonight. I tried two already, so I probably shouldn't have any more. The recipe I borrowed from says that these freeze well; will have to put them in the BACK of the freezer in a package marked "raw squid" or something like that.
Maintaining my weight; thinking I would like to lose another 5 pounds to see if that's where I want to be. No hurry, I still have lots of firming to do, and our trip to Maui isn't until March.
Oh, going to my step-mom's (Dad's widow, though they weren't married; spent last 7 [happiest] years of his life together)for Thanksgiving. I told her about the recipe I found for Praline Charlottes cookies, so now that's what I'm taking. She's cooking a turkey. I think I'll make some veggies or a healthy salad to take, too.
