Non scale victory today : I can fit in my 6 yrs ago trousers. Even if I am still 10lbs heavier than I was 6 yrs ago. Anyway, I am very happy!! :D
Maybe it's unrealistic to believe that at 29 I can still reach the weight of when I was 23...
I see my body shape improving. It's few months since I am in the 59kgs range, from the scale point of view it's a plateau. But I can see a clear change in my body. I think I am slowly getting back the muscles. I can see the difference when I wear my old trousers and dresses. I can have a different attitude than one year ago. Working out is not anymore a boring "must-do", it's something natural and nice to do. I can see the difference also when swimming, since I am able to do much more than 6 months ago or one year ago. Now I can swim 1km or 1.2km (with breaks, not in a row!!) while last year it was just 100-200 meters. I also have to tell, my health improved a lot by eating gluten free, even if this might not be the solution for me.
All these results make me happy and motivate me to go on :) The biggest result for me is to have stopped growing fat at such a high pace. Last year, at some point, I gained 2 to 3 pounds a week. I am glad I slowly stopped that trend and lost most of the weight I gained.
