Just finished loading the replacement fridge seems to have everything set. I think I have to adjust the shelves a little but I will wait a while to figure out what is different from how I had it set up last time. something seems off.

I am feeling so much better. So much calmer and getting adjusted to the new WOA. I was whining a bit for a while and fighting things as I hate being restricted. I really hated it. But I have come to accept what I have been dealt.

I have known for years that I have to avoid a lot of foods, top on the list is refined flour products and a ton of different veggies. I slowly over the past couple decades slid back to full avoidance of this fact and naturally gained all that weight and messed up my immune system and set my allergies on fire. I thought my earlier treatments would heal me and I could go back to normal like other people. Well, just like many of us, my body changed and I had to make adjustments or I would get these results. In our 30's some of us slowly notice some changes and they get more pronounced as we age. We can't go back and enjoy our metabolism that we had when we were young. We find we have issues with different foods. Got to learn how to deal with the new us and find the right path to health and happiness.

While I am within a couple pounds of my goal weight, my body shape and health has a longer journey ahead of it. It may take me months to get back into shape, but you know what?? I can take my time to get there. Pushing before I am ready will only set me back. I am happy to be eating to my maintenance level and relieved that I don't have to micro manage my eating any more. The only reason I log my food is to keep track that I don't under eat which has been a problem for me for a while. Eating carnivore is basically as easy as it gets. hopefully one day I heal enough I can sneak in my coffee once in a while. Long term habits are hard to give up. But I can honestly say I really have no cravings. After doing the keto so long I pretty much stifled most of those type of urges. On the simple carnivore they have been even less. progress!

Glad to hear you figured out your allergy issue. I think we all hate 'restrictions', but, I am also willing to accept many of them. Just tired of 'fighting it'. Your refrigerator issues are an eye opener. I really take a refrigerator for granted! Take it out of our lives ad we see how important it is :)

Yes Adef it is more than just the allergies as I suffer from the carb situation just like you, I have always been in the 10 and under total carbs club. Now I just have to stay under 5 and no more trouble with weight. That is important number for weight management long term. I just have a few more foods I have to also restrict. Getting past the fighting it is a biggy!

You handle all of your food issues with such a good attitude - it has to be tough but you manage to keep on fighting to find out what is best for you! Great job!!

I understand how you feel. I also have food issues and "cheating" isn't an option for me. I focus on the health of the foods I eat rather than focus on weight loss. Good luck to you and congratulations on your progress.

oh Chris I am not concerned about my weight in the slightest that is why I am working on maintenance calorie levels now. I want to stabilize and heal. and absolutely my goal if it has not been clear is to eventually rebuild my body muscles and reduce my fat without dieting. When I do exercise it is limited amount right now and I try to make sure I eat more to prevent weight loss. the fat will eventually turn to muscle and wa la! no more excessive fat.

I'm proud of you. I could never do the carnivore gig but I respect anyone who can stick to to a program. We all cave sometimes but it's our tenacity to get back up that determines our success. You my friend are tenacious and determined and we could all learn alot from you.

thank you Jenjabba, getting my mindset right has helped me a lot this week. Reading Bears story and method helped me get there. I am hoping that you get this all figured out too. Your issues are just as complicated if not more so than mine.

You really have gotten past the biggest hurdle; figuring out what is wrong and how to fix it! You’ll heal yourself with time. Maybe then your body will be strong/ healthy enough to handle the occasional cup of coffee
