Wow, wow, wow. My gym asked for success stories, particularly for those who attend their senior classes. Since their Silver Sneakers class did a great job of conditioning me, yesterday my instructor asked for my e-mail so I could be contacted.
After receiving an e-mail, I wrote a short success story, included my before picture & a recent picture of my in exercise clothes, and sent it off. A few hours later I heard back; effusive thanks for a great story & they'll share it with their community & should it become a media story would I agree to be contacted? Gulp. I'm still digesting that.
Went to a kick-butt Zumba class this morning, stopped by to see my Aqua instructor & let her know I was sorry that my Zumba class time was in conflict with her Aqua class time. She saw me & said "Look at Miss Skinny Minny! What is it now, 60 pounds? 57?" so I knew she had read my story. She announced to my class my weight loss accomplishment & I received a splashing ovation, lol. I blushed, took a bow, & said "it all started with Aqua!"
What a rush! I start this for my health and it has enriched my life in so many ways; more social contacts, more energy, enjoyment of life, ability to do more things better than before, on and on....
