Another beautiful day; I'm going to fully live each minute of it! I may have to see a doctor about a pesky health issue, but that shouldn't take long. If the doctor's office ever calls me back...

I've started a big batch of Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken, I have exercise class, can continue working on paperwork (did a lo yesterday), figure out what I will wear for trip to DC, and go shopping if need be. Maybe I'll put on shorts & a tank top & go for a walk/work on a tan (I just have a bit of a farmer's tan now), or I could even go up to the community pool & play in the water & try for a little real tan. Even swim if there aren't too many kids in the pool. I'll want to swim in DC, and I'd prefer to even out my color a little.

I love August days, when the possibilities seem endless. Oops, I just remembered my dentist appointment at 3:30; maybe not endless today, but still lovely.

I'm thankful for:

-my FS pals & all
-my gym pals
-my mom Connive (Dad's widow, not my actual Mom)
-a good night's sleep
-the miracles of modern medicine
-Beau the wondercat
