Got to figure what to cook for dinner! My step son will be staying with us for a few days while he takes some work related classes in Charlotte. Apparently he has know about this for a while but neglected to mention it. He just "showed up" last night.

Kids - you've got to love them - it is against the law to shoot them.

lol Buffy - at least you can always count on somethings never changing! Don't let it upset your diet routine, he'll just have to fit in :)

Make what you were planning to make but maybe a little more. Your house, your meal plan. Just enjoy his company.

Naaah! I'm afraid ya can't shoot him; but get into his business, it'll feel just as bad, as if you were using him for target practice. LOL :-) You have a few interesting things in your cook book: the parmesan ccrusted chicken, the crustless spinach pie, the jalapeno poppers; all sound good to me; have a salad with anyone or all of those, and you both will have a great meal. Even easier; season some chicken thighs with some oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, a touch of salt and pepper and maybe some fresh lemon juice; bake in a 375 degree oven for an hour and a half, serve it up with a Greek salad, and enjoy. :-) He won't even have to know he's eating low carb. LOL Have a great day!

Tracy - You've got that right! And just because I'm upset doesn't mean my diet will be upset.

Davidsmom - Good plan - but need to go back in to the store anyway. That guy can put away some food!

I agree make what you were planning, just little more. If he's still hungry there's always fast food places. Your house, your rules !!!
