I just don't understand what is going on lately. Maybe it is the stress in my life that is causing the issue. Maybe it is the sudden drop in using WW points that I was so accustomed to using here. But I am up 5 lbs. It's very discouraging and I am almost to the point of why bother anymore. No matter what I eat...no matter how hard I work out...I'm just not seeing the results I thought I would see 4 months into this round of trying to lose weight and get heatlhy.

For me results are the key. Without them I lose all interest...no matter how good I feel. I wish I wasn't that way but I am.

weigh in is tomorrow or Thursday and I am not looking forward to it at all.

Well if you are doing WW, here are some points to think about. Are you eating all your daily points every day? (not eating them does not always equate to more weight loss, it can actually cause no loss or gains in some people). Are you getting in your HG's (lean protein, dairy, fruits and veggies) every day? Eating too many processed foods can lead to a high sodium intake and bloating? Are you drinking your water to flush out sodium? Are you doing the same exercise all the time? You may need to change it up. Up your duration or intensity. Our bodies get used to the same things all the time. Are you tracking all your BLT's (bites, licks and tastes). Five pounds in a short time when you are staying on plan means water weight. Stress raises our cortisol levels which can making losing weight more difficult. Try a week of really healthy clean eating. oatmeal or eggs for breakfast with fruit, salad/chicken for lunch or a sandwich with lots of veggies, yogurt and fruit, veggies and hummus, etc. You need to change up what you are doing and find what will work.

Hi Suzi. Yep I am getting my points in. I'm have 22 points and I eat 22-27 each day. I have a smoothie every day so that I can get in my fruit and dairy. (healthy smoothie of course). I stay away from processed foods if I can help it. I drink 72 ounces of water every day and have for years. I work out 3 times a week. 2 days of cardio and 1 day with a personal trainer. I write down everything...absolutely everything. I have been doing this since the first of the year. Before that I did WW and went ot the offices to weigh.
