So, I'm probably going to get a lot of hate but I find keto friendly substitutes for carb foods odd. The whole point of keto is being on a restrictive diet so that you "naturally" eat fewer calories. It is supposed to eliminate these options to reduce diet variety. Supposedly keto helps control hunger so that you don't crave pizza, tortillas etc, so making versions of these foods with most of the time even higher calorie versions due to fat being more calorie-dense, is ironic. It's like a hack that is counterproductive.

Keto, actually, is great for people with hormonal issues, nothing odd about it. I lost more weight and faster on Keto than probably anyone on this site.

I eat a more balanced diet on keto and getting more balanced as I get closer to my goal. I eat my required protein, I introduce more veggies aka carbs as I adjust to my new weight. I have foods that I do not intend to go without and I make healthier alternatives. I like my evening chocolate or whatever treat I am missing. I can eat it in moderation. I see some crazy stuff with new people on keto and honestly I can understand people being turned off by the diet if that is all they see. I simply have a hard time with the idea that some depend on bathing their veggies in oils and lards to get their fat. I cringe when I see some of this stuff. so many healthy options to make it all work.

I wasn't in any particular hurry, it just fell off. I was addressing the false idea that weight loss on Keto is slow.

You are a keto bully. I know type ONE diabetics that do keto and are saving their lives! I have a lot to say, but I swore I wouldn't do what YOU do, and bomb YOUR posts with contradicting stuff like you do on KETO peeps posts. Your OPINION is your opinion, but that is it.

I do not think that flour tortillas are a healthy option nor do I think of bacon, but I choose to eat carbohydrates because this is my lifestyle and a strict diet does not work for me, but I will always respect the diet of everyone here. 😊 jenjabba I respect you and support your journey here, I have never offended you, but I know one day you deleted my comment just because I am not doing keto 😐

Actually, when I see obese people I wish I could let they know about "keto" it makes me really sad seeing the pain of others but I know you can't give advices to others if they don't ask for it.

I'm more worried about the 100 pound girl posting she ate a stick of gum for lunch and a bowl of popcorn for dinner and she "needs" to lose 5 more pounds to be happy

Keto bully, lol. I was simply stating substitutes for carb foods is not a good way to lose weight on keto and defeats it's purpose. Like Phil said, for maintenance, I can totally see it. Also for people who have adverse effects to certain foods. If you need it to lose fat and to save your life, do it, I am not telling you not to.

Could you explain how a keto diet is detrimental to diabetics? Every thing I know about diabetics and Keto suggests the exact opposite.

(Not towards you phil) I guess I never had a urge to loss tons of weight fast (I was happy with 1/2-1 a week) cause I’m already happy 😃 weight loss made me happier 😏 I got my kids and husband, that’s what truly makes me happy 😏 not weight loss

I don't really mind the anti-keto thing, the more I see keto-branded products and people selling exogenous ketones the more I'm like, these keto-tards are on their own. When done right, Keto is great, but doing it right puts you in wha? So really, it's a wash, and once you're in maintenance you should be adding back starches. fruits (not for me, I hate fruit), and other "problematic" foods, the only thing I have ever seen advised to avoid for-evah is refined sugar (sucrose), but even that I have a good dose of occasionallly with no real ill effects. Que sera que sera.
