just a suggestion - be sure to use the food journal to your advantage! Log absolutely everything in the beginning - for weeks - this has been the most useful tool for me. And if you can log in your choices AHEAD of time, even better - as it gives you some wiggle room to make necessary adjustments to each meal you are planning. Either way, it gives you such valuable feedback on if your calories are high enough, are you getting the right fat, protein, carb ratio's, is your sodium too high, etc...and obviously if your carbs are being pushed out of their limits. When I come to this site - I log my food, and my exercise first! Then I go on to the group forums and journals etc. You are doing a great job - hang in there, and stay the course. Love, Paula

Ditto to the previous comment. It is very important to utilize this site the best you can. That includes your food calendar. Recording everything will help you gain a better understanding how your eating will affect your weight loss. Best of luck.

Yep, thanks. I have actually been very vigilant (I need to do last night). I am just finding it hard to get enough calories in, and yesterday I ate way too little. Feeling it today, my head hurts. So I am trying to spread out my carbs more to all 3 major meals and get them all in that way.

I found that if I ate much smaller meals I was able to eat more frequently. Also, be sure to increase your use of olive oil and butter as they will help up the calories w/o affecting your carbs.
