HCB's Journal, 24 May 2015

Greetings Buddies!

Again, thank you to all who have served, serve or will serve in the Armed Forces protecting our countr
y.

I am feeling better each day with the medication. In fact, I went to the gym yesterday and took a short walk in the rain today just to get my FitBit Steps in for the day! Although I have my settings low, the FitBit does make me move more especially on the days off from the gym.

The next three days my Boston Red Sox will be in town playing the Twins - so we will be at all three games! Praying the rain lets up for Memorial Day game in the afternoon.

I can bring food into the ballyard - so I will plan ahead and bring my own stuff to avoid eating off plan too much. I might have one treat only one time over the three games!

Words of the week:
"Don't let worn-out beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself."

I am dedicated, determined and diligent.

Hope you have fun! That is great that you can bring in your own food. I wish more places did that.

Hi, heyit is fun to see another buddy who is also using a FITBIT to help track their activity levels. I just received mine late this last week and so far I think it will be able to help me track things so I am glad for that. Good luck and be sure to let us know how your doing.

Go Twins! sorry, can't help it. I lived in Minnesota for most my young years. I should get a fitbit to try out. Just don't have a place to walk well as I live out in the boonies and the road sucks. I'd have to drive someplace for a decent walk.

Cool!! When I was in college we used to watch the games at Fenway with binoculars and the radio or TV on from a friend's apartment balcony that overlooked the park. It was a whole lot cheaper than tickets on a college budget!! More rooting for the Royals now living in the KC area since 1978.
