Greetings Buddies:

I am excited to see some progress the last month; and decided to review the changes I have made that are more effective.

Last August 2014, I averaged around 1400 daily calories with
Carbohydrates (44%), Fats (24%) and Protein (32%). I was working out four days a week at Orange Theory Fitness - lost no weight!

Now in February 2015, I averaged around 1300 daily calories, with Carbohydrates (15%), Fats (59%) and Protein (26%). I am working out four days a week at Orange Theory Fitness - lost 9 pounds in six weeks!

There ya go! Who knew?

Glen - it is just as big of a surprise to me...eating healthy fats push your body to burn fats instead of the glucose from too many carbs!

I think my %'s are about the same as yours. In fact I lost exactly 9 pounds in that time frame too. I have been stalking your recipes and food diary lol. If anyone had told me a year ago to eat so much fat I would have called them a crackpot. Not anymore. Thanks for being so supportive and a great role model

I know Nicholaix! It is crazy what I can eat - bacon three times a week? The stupid thing is I still miss potatoes...and crunchy Italian bread! But I feel lousy when I eat the heavy carbs and starch - so I am happy with this current process.
