Greetings Buddies et. al.,

So, it seems I had the "lost weekend" and was too lazy to log food or exercise! Wow, that seldom happens but I was truly exhausted.

And, we ate out twice which did not help the routine...

I took three days off in a row from OTF so I could recover from the treadmill run I did on Friday!

Today, I felt fine and did the elliptical without pain during or after; and lifted some heavy weight (for me..) so all is good again.

My food needs a re-visit though...just need to get back on the better choices and start logging EVERYTHING!

Logging is so important and helpful to me so I stay accountable to myself.

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

Meh.. recording or not, it went in ... and too late to change it. You got this. You're doing fine. Glad to read you're feeling better.

Sometimes a longer resting period is needed. When I pulled my hip with my last walk/run, I had to rest for a whole week (from that type of exercise). Then I followed that day with 2 intense days of weightlifting/strength training and had to rest for 4 days (did walking for 2 days and activity for the other 2). I believe in rest days (I always take the weekends off) and I don't work a muscle group if it's still sore. Good job listening to your body :)

Glad your hip is feeling better. I occasionally don't get on here either, but I agree with you about being accountable to ourselves.
