Thank goodness I love my veggies! Can add chicken, ground beef, sausage, and/or cheese. Not feeling super fantastic today. I did a really good workout last night. We had a red bell pepper that wasn't looking so hot, so I threw it on the sheet that I was cooking dinner on. I put it in the fridge afterwords and then stuffed it today for lunch = delicious. I allowed myself a little bit of na'an last night because I'm so close to goal weight and I worked out but alas, I was up a half pound this morning. So, no more allowing until I hit 125 cleanly. I woke up at 2:30am with a sore throat. I don't have the chills, sweats, and aches that my family had. I can tell I have it but my body is doing a really good job of fighting it off, so far. That's a really good thing, because I need to get over this quick. I have a presentation at work that I really need to get done and practice, it's coming up on the 13th, yikes!

If you have a sore throat after sleeping? Do you snore at night? Both my wife, Vicky, and I snored really bad. We found out we had Sleep Apnea and got it taken care of. I also use a chin strap to keep my mouth shut at night. This has eliminated 99% of my sore throats when I wake up and I sleep better at night.

Keep your throat wrapped warm and pump spray an antiseptic for your throat. That's what we do and with great success.I'll skip on super.

Never thought to spray antiseptic on my throat, I'll try it. Thanks! @PBenkert I haven't woken up with a sore throat in years. My husband does enough snoring for the both of us, lol. My whole family has had a cold like flu for weeks, I think I just finally came down with a bit of it. I had lots of herbal tea and some miso soup, my throat is feeling a little better. Thanks all!

Keep the cheese and throw away the meat it sits in your gut and prevents the veggies doing their work, keep at it this type of diet is good if you have to have meat stick to chicken or white fish, have you tried blending? it really works.

Good things is if you write "good fortune (吉利)" in Chinese, the number of strokes of those two characters combined is exactly 13. So I guess you'll do good.

Wishing you well !!!! You have plenty of time to practice your presentation. The stress of thinking about it may be some of the culprit. Been there myself. However, it is important to take care of yourself and find ways to relax the mind, your body will naturally follow. ; )

I LUV veggies! I had chicken with yellow squash & shallots last night. I don't care much for onions, but the shallots weren't bad! I recommend drinking hot tea for the sore throat - good luck with your presentation!
