Day #8 of not smoking. I still want one from time to time, but it's getting easier. It's still hard not to have them at work. I am so glad my challenge is over. I seriously don't lose weight once a week like clockwork. It takes me like 8 or 9 days between weigh ins to lose more weight, and if I have to weigh in within 7 days it makes me feel like a failure for not losing. I hate that my Weight History chart has stagnant lines on it. If it's up to me, I simply don't weigh in until I've lost weight. I like all my lines to go down! And if there's more space in between the dots, so be it! I had yogurt, strawberries and turkey bacon for breakfast today. It's my "go to" breakfast. I have seriously got to think of different things to eat for breakfast. I was eating egg substitute omelets but I got tired of them. Occasionally I'll have a turkey bacon BLT for breakfast, but I can't have that every day because of the bread. I had a Wendy's BLT Cobb salad for dinner last night and it was pretty good. Not bad on the calories, either. It's always wonderful when I find fast food I can eat. I am trying to decide what to take to work for dinner, and all I have is some ten day old chicken and I think it's too old to eat. So that means I will be buying dinner again, blech. I am trying to get motivated to go to the gym again this morning - it's my usual two hour drink coffee diddle around on the computer thing I do. I slept in this morning a little, and talked to my dad on the phone for half an hour, so this really cut into my computer time. I need to go running this morning and I am trying to get motivated. I am almost ready to graduate to 3/4 of a mile. I bet everyone will be glad when I finally do a mile to stop hearing about these fractions of a mile that I do! I'm trying to convince myself I can run 11 minutes instead of 9 minutes. It's not a super big deal, but it is to me. Well, I'm going to drink my coffee and then get dressed and head out - at least I am going this morning.

I never get tired of you talking about running!! And once you get to one mile you will be like.... "hmmm, wonder how long it will take me to do 1.25 miles?" I love it! You are doing so well- great job!
