s.d.f. the meaning....good Saturday morning...just got done watching a ctx video and riding trainer for 1:15 on time...estimated 17 or so moles...may have been more...when you don't get all the stats...cause you have to wing it to get an inside workout..you miss your set up...laptop is still in shop..called yestwrday..i lost the wireless driver...mind you..downloading the driver takes no time...however...guess the computer shop just wanted to yank my chain..and keep it in their shop over weekend..in my small town..the little person has no voice..it sucks...

moving on s.d.f. what I think it means...i really think it's Chris's mantra that keeps him more focused on that light at the end of the tunnel we all so badly want to accomplish...and hopefully some day will...just my thought..

read a lot yesterday about Keto and omad and the do and don'ts of it all...very interesting reading...i kinda follow omad...but don't have it set up in food menu like that..as my breakfast is what I take before my ride/workout...my lunch is my main meal...and...everyday about 3...i have my last protein/creatine mix...was reading yesterday that protein shakes aren't really considered a food because they break down differently in the body...or something along that line...i don't drink mine as a meal replacement...i drink it to help my muscles recover faster...

26 outside...windchill 17...suppose to be 44...but still to cold for a ride outside later..was so sunny yesterday....but temp outside was only 26...what a tease...

well...need to get my salad and last of my helping of sweet taters set up for later...i have noticed...when i make to big a salad..sometimes I have to put part of it back...a good thing..

About to head out to the 30th Annual Freeze Your Fanny ride...should be several hundred folks there..going to be in the 40s and windy..I read your take on protein shakes...I added protein supplement to my first back in November (I felt I was losing too much muscle along with body fat)..I try to get about 120 grams of protein a day..and keep my total calories between 1500-2000...my weight loss has stopped...but I feel stronger than I have in a long time and my exercise routine is becoming easier...I think it’s time that I reevaluate my WOE...I’m still about 35-40 lbs from my ultimate weight...however my blood sugars have got back in line and I’m not taking any meds for it...

@scott..enjoy that ride...im not on any meds of any kind...i use to do protein shakes before my ride/workouts..but get a better burn on fat stores by having it after...when I feel like I need the extra protein...and I felt like I was going thru to much powder...its kinda a person to person thing..but re evaluating your woe is a good idea from time to time

I didn’t do my walk this morning because it is cold and my friend could not make it early. Saturday is her very busy day. But I checked the weather and it should be about 40 around 11 am. Guess who will be hitting the trail?? 😎

@new....i understand the cold mornings..dont matter when you walk..long as you get it in...i always feel better after my time on the road bike

Curious about how you make your protein shakes.the product etc....very impressed with everyone here who gets out in the cold to exercise.. I loathe the cold and its definitely cold here in southern Ohio

cold here in southern il....i buy whey protein at walmart..look in my food menu...thats got less sugar..i mix 1 scoop in what ever I want to use as a drink..usuaaly a cup of coffee...with a egg out of fridge...mix it up...bottoms up...egg added...just adds head to protein shake...

@bpatty...had to ride today..inside..couldnt take off..got miles to get by end of month...lol...u could use strava to track your miles..if you don't already use an app..

Ok I have purchased the protein powder from Walmart its flavored creamy vanilla using it as of now to make fat bombs also ordered online isopure cookies and cream this powder has o carbs same use...researching protein drinks for when I incorporate strength training...basic gym set up in house... need to Ok thank you funny somehow posting that we reside in the southern part of our states doesn't make it a more desirable to live here especially with the cold weather we are having...I think though your south is colder than my south though...so your state wins:)

when I shop for anything..i always put it in food menu first...to see the numbers...labels on back of food can sometimes have hidden things that you don't always see...until after you get home..an then you either give it away..or eat it and learn from it...

I'm getting set up tonight to do an outside ride at 6am...be 36..and winds at 9 out of sw..and possible rain...rain cancels ride...just need an outside ride again...think I'm missing being able to enjoy outside riding..just have to put layers on in morn to stay warm...
