I'm looking forward to this evening and really enjoying the added items for phase II. As I type there's a roast with carrots, tomatoes, and onion in my crockpot at home. I don't know how I'm going to exercise before dinner with the house smelling so good!

I'm proud to say I haven't added back in diet soda. For a treat I might have the occasional Sprite Zero, but this is a very big deal!! Before I started doing all of this I had quite the diet Dr. Pepper addiction. The only caffeine I've added back is my morning cup of coffee. And going 9 days without it.....I feel like I could do laps around the block after drinking it! Because of this I'm considering cutting it out all together and moving to decaf.

Here's my day today:
Breakfast: 1 cup of cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk and a banana.
Snack: Yogurt
Lunch: Beans and Rice, Orange
Snack: Apple
Dinner: 4oz. of roast, cooked carrots, and steamed veggies
**Lots of water and 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer.

On another note, I'm worried and excited about tomorrow. My friend's Dad is having his annual shrimp/crab boil and I've been invited. It's an all afternoon affair with a self serve margarita machine, lots of yummy food, and cake. I haven't cheated since I started this diet, but tomorrow could ruin that. I can pass on cake, but margaritas are another story. Crab and shrimp in moderation will be okay. I'm thinking about bringing a veggie tray to snack on!

You are doing so good....it won't hurt to splurge a little...but in moderation for sure, you don't want to kick yourself in the morning! Like GoPackers said, moderation and a good workout will do the body good! Have a wonderful weekend!!!

I know how you feel with the caffeine. I made the mistake of drinking a cup before I had to do a presentation. I was so jittery it was crazy. I really thought if I could do about 10 laps around the room I would feel better. Needless to say I will not be doing that again. All I could do during my pres. was to try to shake the nervous energy out by shaking my hands. I know I looked crazy. I tried to explain what I had done to the audience so they wouldn't think i was too crazy. Enjoy the shrimp and crab sounds yummy. Always enjoy in moderation and be prepared for a workout. I think it's agreat idea to workout before you go. You won't feel so guilty....
