I'm an ultra marathoner. been trying for years to get my weight back down to 180's. Trouble with running as much as I do is you eat so much afterwards. Well this past summer I was injured and couldn't run for 2 months and next year I turn 60. Suddenly it all became very clear - no more junk food and learn how to deal with hunger. I've been on 4:3 diet, modified to fasting mon, wed, fri and eat whatever I want other days. So far two months in and not affecting my runs and I'm off all junk food. I just think about being able to run on the AT when ever I have urge for junk.

I think AT is the Appalachian Trail, SjF60. Is that correct Drinkwaterx4 ?
|
I think so too but unsure so I thought I'd ask. I guess the 30 miles is really what I'm in awe about not the where!

I know! 30 mile run is mind boggling

I used to know someone who did ultras. Did you do 50, 100, or 150? I know they have different courses and end miles. Running for 48 hour straight is crazy amazing.
