Well I'm officially pissed off. I went grocery shopping today. Went good, I didn't buy anything that I shouldn't have. After I get off the bus (yeah I do my grocery shopping by bus and I get more exercise doing that then I get at the gym.) I walk about one block when I get stopped by the department of homeland security! Like they can stop anyone they want any time they want. What did I do? Walking while Muslim? They went through everything I was carrying right there on a public street, I was so embarrassed! Then they wouldn't even honor my request for a female agent to search my person. I'm not one to bash cops, I think most of them are good and honorable, but these were so out of line today. I'm angry. I just have to make sure that that anger doesn't make me stray from my diet.

I feel for you! Take care :)! Yes, there are good and bad cops....my husband was a police officer for about 11 years, and he was a good one. Spent most of his time undercover, but still honorable and fair.

I don't know about these situations, but I am sorry for our country that it has come to this. You know, the 60, 70 and 80 year old women in my church have to be educated about the things pedophiles do so they can be CORI approved to work with children. This is all a result of some very bad apples. Initially I was outraged, after awhile you get used to it. NAUGHT!

You should report the search of your person. I work in as a teacher in correctional facilities and where I work, that is an actionable breach of protocol. It would trigger an investigation and possibly a firing, if not prosecution. Call your local District Attorney's office and tell them you have a civil rights complaint.
