Started keto, got fat doing vegan haha! I came across the Keto diet while researching diets for people with cancer. My 29 year old son was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 months ago. So I researched and researched it and got him started on it. He loves the diet.

I went Vegan for about 6 months and gained a ton of weight, plus I was having a lot of stomach issues on a Vegan diet. I dropped the Vegan and started doing Keto in support of my son. I and my body are very thankful. I haven't had a stomach issue since starting, and although my weigh in doesn't show it yet, I've shrunk. Most likely water weight. My pants aren't stuck to my thighs like skin anymore they are actually baggy. And I have to use the tighter last hooks on the bra now, YES! But most of all, not having cravings, don't miss all the carbs, and I'm actually enjoying this way of eating.

Best thing of all, my sons doctor is very very happy with his bloodwork and he's doing very very well! Keeping it positive!
