Quick question for my experts. I know I have to drink lots and lots of water, but I'd prefer to put some of the no-cal enhancers in there for taste. Is this ok? I can drink gallons as long as it have some flavor. Thanks...

It depends what you mean by enhancers. Lemon or fruit? Go for it! Artificial sweeteners like Mio? I'd probably pass. I think the less artificially sweet things you eat/drink, the less you crave sweet foods. And the more plane water you drink, the more you will like it, it just takes an adjustment period.

I know SW, but I've been drinking them for 20+ years already!! I know it's not as good as plain H20, but it's better than Diet Coke!

I drink it "straight up" , LOL, but I think it is Ok to add no cal and no sugar flavor.

Sorry, my computer has a mind of its own today! Trying to say, it might add a calorie or two, but you don't need much, and the natural juice is better for you than the "fake" stuff!

I use crystal light or walmart brand fruit punch. We add 1 6oz. can of pineapple juice to a gallon. Tastes great and very low cal.

I try to limit the amount of flavor enhancers I use. I will have one diet soda a week and 1-2 of my 6 bottles of water I add flavor to just mix it up a little. Drinking water all the time gets boring to me and makes me drink less of it, so adding a little flavor gets me to drink more.

By the way Ray, I get the Walmart lemonade and squeeze a couple of oranges in. They drop the halves in there and it tastes great!

I love water. It's the Only thing I drink, and 2 black coffees per day. Had to get used to it though, forty years ago.

Drinking water and black coffee really goes a long way to help your diet. Give your self a month of nothing but water and black coffee you will see a difference. if you have a craving take a sip of soda only and move on. Unsweet tea works the same, but I just prefer coffee.

All I drink is water based drinks. Except for 2 tbsp of FAT FREE creamer in my coffee. I just like flavor sometimes. I'm working on moving to black only but that could take some time...
