Congrats on the 50, that's great! I forgot about how sore my arms were when I had to be on crutches... It definitely is a good workout!

Congrats on the 50 lbs down, I hope your foot heals up as quickly as possible. Also hope your BP gets under control. Sometimes freak things/accidents that send us to the hospital end up alerting us to issues we didn't know we had, that's how I found out I had heart disease.

Congratulations on the 50 pound reduction! So glad you are paying attention to the BP. This journey is not for the faint of heart! You can do this and you can win!

The shirt in my profile pic is the one I wore to the doctor yesterday. It just hangs on me now.

Congrats Kevin, I know how hard you have worked to release 50 pounds - just think you are half way to goal! And, maybe dropping the dumbbell was a disguised blessing because now you are taking care of the BP !

The doctor says also 185 is too lean. He suggested 195. I was 6 foot 185 lbs when I was 23.

A big help with the blood pressure is to cut your sodium intake. I cut mine down to less than 500 mg per day along with my medication and it helps a lot. Not to mention it helps with the weight loss as well. I started this journey about a year ago with BP running @ 190/102. This afternoon it was 116/67 and has been good for over 9 months. Salt tastes good, but you can learn to live without so much of it.
