Blessed1's Journal, 10 June 2009

Slept very well last night and woke up ready for today. I headed back out into the yard today. We just got back from vacation this past Saturday. We were only gone a week but it looked more like we had been gone for months! Weeds were grown up everywhere!!! LOL - but anyway after all my hard work from yesterday and today, it once again looks like someone lives here. I have drank more than my fair share of water today. Even with it being cloudy it still was so humid! Just wanted ya'll to know I'm still here and still hanging in there and I appreciate all the encouraging words and support!!!

I just read your bio, Blessed1. How wonderful...! God bless you and your husband. You are right: there are too many children in need of a good home. What a blessing that you and your husband so lovingly accept children into your life. You are not only changing their lives for the good, but changing the lives of future generations of their children and grandchildren. I am amazed you had time for yard-work with two little ones! I bet you're one of those super-active, hard-working women whom only need to get a handle on food to lose weight. You're already active! Reminds me of my boyfriend: He walks faster than any human I know but overeats to the point of being 120 pounds overweight. Like you, once he develops a healthy relationship with food, the weight will simply melt off. I have the opposite problem: Usually good with the food but too sedentary. You're a beautiful lady and I pray you develop a healthy relationship with food. And me? I just need a good kick in the butt, ha-ha.

Yes I am always on the move. LOL - the kids were outside in the yard playing. I forget I've got 3 boys home since school is out for the summer. But yeah - if I can get a handle on the food part of it - I would be much better. There are times that I need to put "time to eat" in my Blackberry. If I get up and start laundry, or something with the kids, I will look up (like today) and it was 10:30 and I hadn't eaten anything. I know this is not good - especially since I am hypoglycemic. But I am doing MUCH better than I used to. LOL - you are too funny!
