I have started taking a multi-vitamin again and going today to get iodine supplement to help my thyroid at least until I get put on my thyroid medicine. I read somewhere that the lack of sufficient iodine is one of the major causes of inactive thyroids. I have just got to loose his weight. This is killing me I have no energy and can't do very much without getting worn out.

Hang in there! You will get your meds soon. Just do what you can. Any extra is a win. Sometimes light exercise actually gives you a little energy boost. Take a walk around the block, neighborhood, woods, whatever you live in.

Selenium is best taken naturally as in brazil nuts, 2 a day.
