I accept myself unconditionally right now.
I had my blood taken by the vampires today...ok, so they were not vampires but rather the phlebotomists! AND I took my blood meter in like a well behaved person who is working on getting her crazed blood tamed! I look so straight laced on the outside but on the inside my blood and body take on a life of their own and have a "kegger" party 24/7 and every calorie is invited. WooHoo!! NOT!
We have been having our evening meal at the actual dining table for the past week. Afterwards we linger and have lengthy conversations about current events. It has been very nice and guess what? The family actually cleans up the table and puts their dirty dishes away as well as any leftovers being put in the fridge. No dirty dishes all over the kitchen and living room. BONUS!
Tomorrow it is off to the dietician to hear what I should eat and what I shouldn't eat...like I don't know this already? It is the actual doing of what I know I SHOULD eat that is the hard part. Can the dietician come to my house and cook the correct and healthy foods for me? Big Sigh! I thought not! :(
I am determined to do this; I am committed to the time it will take; and I will get this done!
