Another hot day in the heartland. Exercise will depend on the mower situation. Will at least do my challenge ones. Will try again to get my mower started, work on that while it is still cooler in the 80's this am. Still have to tackle the disaster frig and work on tomatoes. Ran out of time yesterday.

Also hope to finally check out a different gym with a pool since I'm going to Joann's next door for fleece. 95 degrees and I'm buying fleece!!

Starting a new week so will try to track my foods etc. consistently. I suggest to others to do so and here I'm doing it everyday. I'm curious to see what my average daily totals will be for September. I need to figure out where my eating plan should be to maintain. Lately it's been no real plan but not going overboard with anything.

Hopefully they'll have the A/C extra low so buying fleece feels 'right'. This happens when I go to the auction; the first thing they sell are the quilts and it's hard to go 'yay...quilts.. in 104 degree weather'.

You are so close to your goal and you have done a great job up until this time. So give yourself some breathing room. But glad to know that you will be tracking your food intake again.

You have been the "poster child" for maintaining, but guess it is best to make sure of how you are doing it so you can keep it up. Have fun with all your projects.

I think classic is the poster child, I've only been hovering around 132 for a short time. Definitely don't want to gain it back and still have all these flabby muscles.

Back inside, sitting quietly, waiting for asthma drugs to kick in, feels like someone is sitting on my chest. Have made progress with the lawnmower and laundry. Still not starting but tipping it upside down has probably flooded the whole thing with gas and oil, letting it sit for awhile.

Went online to check gym with a pool prices, info from doc's assistant doesn't match. 29.99 a month not $20.00 and a $59.99 membership fee. Think I'm going to wait for a bit until my job status settles in so I know my income. It could be more or less depending. Would love the pool and free classes that they offer but will wait.

Spinner?

Spinner? As far as stationary bikes? If so not yet.

Have decided the chest pain is muscle from my workout yesterday as I tried one machine I'd never used before. Joann's is waiting till tomorrow, working on refrigerators, taking more time than planned.

Nope. Spinner as in fleece/wool. Read your bio afterwards, and saw it probably had to do with quilting, not spinning! Both fiber, just different forms. :-)

No, are you? I would love to try weaving and maybe spinning. One of those things I'd love to do if I was retired. Fleece is just the fabric in fabric stores, take 2 layers put on my big quilting machine and quilt it together. They are so warm and snuggley.

Sounds wonderful! I do spin. My daughter got me started about 5 years ago. We started with drop spindles, which I still do sometimes, but we also got a Babe spinning wheel. Good beginner wheel because of the price! It is made from PVC pipe. Doesn't look as beautiful as some wheels, but it works! I mostly make hats or scarves from the wool I make. I am working on a blanket that looks a little like a log cabin style quilt. Great for using up small amounts of yarn...don't want to waste one inch!

Neat!!! I'm assuming you knit or crochet with your yarns? I've looked at the wheels and looms a few years ago. I have not seen a PVC one, but the closest store for spinning and weaving is a couple hours drive.Intriguing, would love to learn how. I need more time to try everything I'd love to learn. Have trouble fitting everything into my days as it is.

I mostly knit. Although we bought a small 4 heddle loom (used) a few years back for my daughter. Just finished setting up the warp again recently for her. There are tons of great videos on line for spinning, and making a drop spindle is not too tough. The biggest challenge is getting the fiber. If you ever want to give it a try, drop me a line. I can send you some...we are drowning in it! I hear you about time!

Yduj57, time is the issue. I bought a little wooden loom about 10 years ago at a garage sale, missed it when I left my ex. so no longer have it. Didn't get very far with learning on it. Thanks for the offer. lunch is over back to work

I used to knit, still do a little but it makes my hands cramp. I have nerve damage that affects my hand, mostly the left. A few minutes at a time is all I can handle.
