Workout done - Shake done (after the Green Cleanse Juice). Last night I told myself I was going to do the shake. Totally did not. Instead had grilled chicken, grilled kale (onion powder, coconut oil, covered in 1/4 c manchego shredded cheese), and I aspired to eat all the beets, but only one was thin enough to enjoy grilled. AND I still came in UNDER 1800 calories for the day. I was so tempted to go hog wild....didn't, and feel like a $1,000,000 bucks today!



If you are into juicing...here is the Green Cleanse Juice I made this morning.

Yields:

Ingredients

1 lemon
2 cups baby spinach
1 small red delicious apples
1 beets
3 medium carrots
2 stalks medium celery
16 oz kale

Directions

Peel the outer layer of the lemon. Remove the green stalk from the beet and peel the beet (the juicer motor seems to be happier if beet peeled)
Add items into juicer - beet, celery, baby spinach, kale, carrots, lemon, apple.
Makes approx 24 fl oz of juice. Can split or drink in one serving. Stir before drinking. Enjoy! Make sure to drink on an empty stomach!
